Business Visitor

This visa allows you to stay in Canada for up to 6 months and is intended to those who
want to visit Canada for business related-reasons, such as:

• come to take part in international business activities without being part of the Canadian labour market

• are looking for ways to establish or grow your business in Canada, invest in a business or advance business relationships

 
Please note that a business visitor is not allowed to work for any company in Canada
while their stay. Only business meetings and discussion of potential contracts are
allowed.
To be eligible for a Business Visa, you must meet some basic requirements, such as:

• have a passport that is valid for 6 months or more

• have no criminal or immigration-related convictions

• convince an immigration officer that you have ties to your home country

• convince an immigration officer that you will leave after 6 months

• proof of being able to support yourself during your stay
